My good friends in Prison Book Club have a brand new record. Check it out. A lot of bands try there hand at the Alt-Country thing and often it feels pretty disingenuous to me. These guys though, and maybe it’s because I know them, get it just right. It feels completely honest. Tucker and John kill it on the song writing, and Adam is probably the best guitar player I know. That kid makes me shake my head in disbelief every time, especially when it comes to The Demon Beat stuff. Plain and simple, he shreds.
